About the role: 

The Senior Manager - National Partnerships is a strategic, relationship-driven leader responsible for accelerating Monoline’s growth through our most national and agency partners.

In this role, you will manage high-value partnerships, ensure alignment with our underwriting strategy, and serve as the primary point of accountability for revenue outcomes. You will build deep, trusted relationships with agency leadership, elevate Monoline’s presence inside partner organizations, and develop forward-looking plans that drive profitable expansion.

Internally, you will serve as the dedicated Agent Ally, ensuring the agency's voice is consistently represented in product development, underwriting refinement, communication strategy, and workflow improvement. This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional who combines strong business instincts, industry connections, and a hands-on, “Batteries Included” approach to building and scaling partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Drive Activation & Scale Across High-Volume Agency Partners 

Build strong working relationships with agency operations leadership, training teams, and frontline management to maximize Monoline's adoption and utilization. Conduct quarterly performance reviews focused on quote volume, conversion rates, attachment rate, and issued business — identifying friction points and opportunities to increase throughput and utilize our SSO/API. Serve as the primary point of accountability for revenue outcomes across assigned partnerships, owning GWP growth, agent-level penetration, and quote-to-bind performance.

B. Own the SimpleSwitch Engine Within Your Channel 

Identify and unlock high-volume SimpleSwitch opportunities within agency books, partnering with agency ops and training teams to embed the program into everyday workflows. Act as Quarterback on active SimpleSwitch programs — tracking pipeline, removing friction, and pushing conversion metrics higher at scale. Collaborate with Underwriting, Transfer, Training, and Marketing to sharpen program performance and ensure book quality keeps pace with volume.

C. Be the Internal Voice of the Agent 

Serve as the cross-functional advocate for the agency experience — surfacing volume-level feedback on product, workflow, technology, and communication gaps that impact agent adoption. Partner with Product, Marketing, and Training to develop resources, tools, and messaging that meet the needs of high-throughput, call-center environments. Ensure Monoline's agent experience is frictionless, intuitive, and optimized for speed — so agents reach for our product first.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance, agency distribution, carrier partnerships, underwriting, or a related strategic growth role.

  • Deep understanding of personal lines underwriting, preferably with exposure to umbrella, excess, or specialty products.

  • Proven track record managing national or regional agency relationships with measurable revenue and growth outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally, especially with underwriting, product, operations, and marketing.

  • High-EQ relationship builder with exceptional communication skills; able to earn trust with agency leaders and represent the company externally.

  • Self-starter with a “Batteries Included” mentality, able to operate in a fast-moving environment, build structure from ambiguity, and own outcomes end-to-end.
